What is IOT

IOT

It basically means internet of things.

Whats does it do?

It means that the devices that we use would communicate with one another and exchange data with one another so that the overall efficiency of the device is increased.

Is it really new?

No,According to me everything that happens in the world is not a new thing, they are often discovered or its just an extension of the old or existing thing.

What is the difference between smart devices and smart connected devices?

We already have many so called smart devices which could carry out a particular task in a specific pattern which is independent of the other machines performance or working. But for doing small tasks this doesn't make much difference but when we increase the scale then that would create an effect on the productivity of the total system. So to solve this people have decided to interconnect all these machines with one another and transfer data seamlessly so that they all could add up to the efficient working of the system.

What are the other technologies associated with it?

IOT(Internet Of Things) is not a smaller area it includes many of other technologies to improve the integration of the information and getting fruitful results. The Big Data come into picture because it has to handle a large amount of data and then The Machine Learning also because to come to conclusion about the pattern of the error and required changes to be made to it.

What are its applications?

People are coming up with a lot of different ideas to integrate then to IOT. It has applications in
Automobile sector
Production plant
Health care  and many more.......

What Does it take to make a IOT device?

To make an IOT device all we need is some electronics and an internet connection to connect them to the internet to transmit data and a receiver to receive the data. The commonly used components are:

1. Arduino Uno Board
2. Esp8226.
3. Knowledge about Arduino and Android coding.

( Note:This information is based on my micro knowledge about IOT. Please do correct me if i am wrong and i would be very grateful to you. )

The word Vikrant is  taken from Sanskrit language giving a meaning :"Stepping Beyond", "Courageous" in terms of fighting under the first command-Captain Pritam Singh.

The ship was once names as HMS Hercules for British Royal Navy during world war II, and was put on hold after the war end and that never returned back to British service (interesting ...isn't).

Later Indian purchased from the United Kingdom in 1957, and completed the whole remaining project in 1961.

She was commisioned for a cost a cost of $0.5bn but $3.75bn to date.

Later again it was decommissioned in Jan 1997 till 2012 she was preserved as a museum ship in Mumbai and due to some safety concerns it was completely closed in 2012 . Interesting fact here the whole ship was auctioned Online as a piece of metal for the BAJAJ company. BAJAJ doesnt want her legacy to go in vain .

SHE was main fighter ship in the Indo-Pak war 1971 even after serving the nation for 4 decades.

She has 192 m long waterline and 213.3 m extreme moreover the beam dimensions measure about 24.2 m waterline and 39 m extreme.

Keeping Some Vegetables Fresh

All people in the wold like to have fresh food. But many a cases a lot of people bring in a weeks worth of goods as they are busy to buy each days goods. So the main problem faced by a lot of people
is preserving the fruits or vegetables that they have brought.

Here are some of the ways in which we could keep some of the vegetable fresh

1.BANANA

Bananas are an excellent source of Vitamin B6 and contain moderate amounts of vitamin C,Manganese and dietary fibers.

To keep the banana fresh for few days (generally 2-3 days ) without the formation of dark brown patches it is advised to cover the top part of the bunch with plastic
apple

2.APPLE

Generally when we cut an apple and forget to eat it after a while we see that that the colour of the apple changes to a darker shade so to prevent this we need to apply a pinch of salt on the cut surface of the apple

apple changing the colour when left open.So it is better if we apply some salt on the slices.

There are no strict norms or rules which have to be followed while performing yoga but care must be taken while performing the postures and we have to mainly concentrate on our breath wile performing the aasans. The other thing is also that some people who already face some physical health problems are forbade from doing some postures because these postures strain their already weak muscles.

What are its benefits?

Yoga is a form of exercise which helps us to build a healthy body and when wee perform the dhyaanam we also focus on a single thing this helps us to improve our concentration. Many people have suggested that practicing yoga regularly solves many problems and there are specific postures (or aasans) for particular set of problems.

Today i.e. June 21 is observed as International Yoga Day

3D Printing

What is 3D printing?

3D printing or Three Dimensional Printing is a type of printing in which solid 3D objects are made from plastic or any other type of filler material.

Why is it useful?

It is very useful because it helps us to produce very little or no waste as it a additive manufacturing process.

What is the main idea behind it?

Generally we know about 2D printer(our common household printer) which prints letters on a paper and so people thought that if they could create a wasy to increase the thickness of the printing material then they could create and object in 3D and hence the idea of 3D printer was born.

Whats the cost of making it?

Many companies have come up with their own unique designsso there are a wide varities of printers ranging from 99 USD to 5k USD.

What would be the future Scope?

Many people have found ways in which the 3D printer would generally be a game changer.Till now the best things i heard are that scientists are trying to make a 3D printer that would print our food and some people are working on creating artificial organs using the 3D printing technology.
